Toby’s bio

Toby is an 8-year-old Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix. He was rescued 7 years ago in California, and they named him Cal He then was transferred to a rescue in Mesa Arizona. The rescue held an adoption at a pet store in Queen Creek. I had lost my dog about a month before and I was looking for another dog. I went to the event and signed up to get him; I got a call that said a man signed up first. About 20 minutes later She call back and said he was mine, so I went over and picked him up. I didn’t like the name Cal, so I told my grandson Noah (he is a character in books 2-12) and he picked the name Toby. After Toby got his name, I put a red bandana around his neck and the only time I take it off is when I wash it. Toby enjoys every dog’s favorite thing, eating and sleeping. He has a very cute friend, a roadrunner the neighborhood call Freddie. They play in the back yard with Freddie standing on the wall, Toby will run after Freddie and he would run away and when Toby walks away Freddie comes back and they do this for a few minutes. Toby also enjoys going for rides to watch for other dogs. He also has a favorite TV show, Bonanza. He knows when it comes on. Lastly Toby like all kids loves Frend fries. He is a very happy dog and enjoy life.
